Dr. Shiv Kumar Goel, MD
Board-certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM), Functional Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine | Founder, Vitality Health at Your Door
A Physician Who Brings Hospital-Caliber Care to You
Dr. Shiv Kumar Goel, MD is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and in Functional Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine. He has 25 years in practice and has treated more than 15,000 patients.
He earned his MBBS at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Queens Hospital Center in New York, and trained in Anesthesiology and Critical Care at VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital. He was the top scorer on his ABIM certification examination in 2010. He later served as Medical Director at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio and as Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University.
He founded Vitality Health at Your Door after years of watching the same thing happen from the hospital side. Patients would improve, go home, and come back three weeks later — not because the medicine failed, but because nobody saw them in between. So he started going to them instead.

A Different Kind of Physician
"Most of what goes wrong after a hospital stay isn't complicated medicine. It's that nobody was in the room. I bring the same care I'd give in the ICU to the kitchen table, and I stay long enough to hear the whole story."— Dr. Shiv Kumar Goel, MD, Founder, Vitality Health at Your Door
Time, Not Throughput
Visits run a minimum of 30 minutes, against a 15-minute office norm. Most of what matters in a complicated case turns up in the last ten.
A Physician Does the Visit
Many home-based care companies run nurse-practitioner-only models with rare physician oversight. Here, the board-certified physician is the one at the bedside.
Watching Between Visits
Through TimeVitality.ai, vitals are monitored between visits so a change of condition surfaces early — not at the emergency room.
